Main Window (Application)

Move your cursor over the above image of the main window for details. Open
Click the Open button to load the document into Java Script It! that you want to add effects to. Help
Click the Help button to launch help for the main window. Quick Steps
This Quick Steps pane on the toolbar provides a quick step by step guide for using Java Script It!. Just click the Next button after completing the step displayed. Click the Previous button to go back and redo a step. Menus
The menu bar contains all commands and features that Java Script It! has to offer. It is a standard Windows menu complete with keyboard shortcuts. Please note that the most used features are represented on the toolbar and sidebar. Save
Click the Save button to save the current document complete with all effects you've added to that point in Java Script It!. The Save button will only be enabled when changes have been made to the values on the application window (to the right). Revert
Click the Revert button to revert the current document back to how it was when it was first opened in Java Script It!. Refresh
Click the Refresh button to cause the Browser Preview Window (bottom of application window) to update it contents to display the changes made in Java Script It!. Please note that when you call the Save, Save As or Test commands Refresh is automatically called. Info
Click the Info button to view help files that are geared specifically for the application you are currently working with. Close
Click the Close button to close the current document you are working with and return to the Start Menu. Property
The Property column lists the different properties of the current application that you may edit to achieve the desired effect. To edit the Property's value just double-click and the appropriate control will appear in which to edit it's value. Value
The Value column lists the current values of the different properties. To edit the Property's value just double-click and the appropriate control will appear in which to edit it's value. Description
The Description field displays the instructions that accompany each property. Edit
Click the Edit button to edit the value of the selected property. Please note that double-clicking each property or value will achieve the same result. Browser Preview Window
The Browser Preview Window is an internal browser that displays the contents of the document you are editing. Click the refresh button to update the display. Application Explorer
The Application Explorer displays all applications that Java Script It! contains. Once you open a document you may chose which application (effect) you wish to add to it from the Application Explorer. Presets
The Presets section of the toolbar allows users to store frequently used settings for each application. Chose which Preset you want to apply to the current document from this drop down box and then click the apply button beside it. Please note that not all applications support Presets. Apply
Click the Apply button to apply the preset shown in the drop down box (to the left) to the current document. Update
Click the Update button to update the preset shown in the drop down box (to the left) with the current values (below). Delete
Click the Delete button to remove the preset shown in the drop down box (to the left). New
Click the New button to add a new preset with the current values (below). The new preset will be shown in the drop down box to the left. Application Info
The Application Info section on the toolbar displays the current document (file) and the current application (name). Please note that the current document path is also displayed in the caption bar.
